Yhe canon is dmall nut comfor6anle. Yhe biew from the patio is out of this world. Great stay of 4 days. Only downside is cooking and dish wash up facolities. Small. Thanks to Pauline. Wonderful

Host was very kind, took time to explain heat pump/AC unit as well as giving us a tour. Host provided welcome bottle of red wine. Great location with nice views and proximity to Cape Bonavista. Cottage is rustic! Could use some updating but had everything you needed for a comfortable stay.

We've stayed here once previously in 2024 and wanted to come back for another visit. The property is well-priced and has all the conveniences one could want. Great outdoor space to sit and barbeque and take in the spectacular ocean views. It is nice to have the owners living next door if something were to go wrong and one needed a quick fix. The community is quiet and a great place to stroll around in the evening.

Stunning Vista!

Excellent amenities-anything you can think of needing - they have provided.Small and quaint but efficient! Comfortable interior and amazing private exterior. Perfect location for exploring the peninsula. View is spectacular!

Easy check in, comfortable cottage, friendly host!Beautiful view! Unfortunately we arrived when it was raining quite hard and already losing sunlight, and left while it was still pretty foggy the next day, but we could see that the view would be so beautiful!We drove down the hill and through the area before heading out again. Lovely place

We had only one night here which was disappointing because we would have loved to stay longer. The area is so lovely and the view was gorgeous. This cozy 2 bedroom was perfect for us and our hosts made us feel at home.

Cosy, great location and so well equipped

Pauline welcomed us to Hillside View with a warm smile and showed us all the necessary details. Hillside View has a great view over Champney’s West and Trinity Bay. The pretty cottage is very comfortable for four people and is so well equipped with everything one could possibly need for a short or longer stay. We would love to return to Hillside View for a future visit to the Bonavista Peninsula! Thank you, Pauline and Fred.

Unique Geography

Beautiful view from deck overlooking the village with houses all around the irregularly shaped lagoon. Then a fascinating rock, then the main bay, with Fox Island to the right, then the mouth of Trinity Bay (from the west side), then the ocean. Helpful friendly hosts. Beautiful Fox Island trail, out to 2 beaches connecting the island to mainland.
