Beautiful apartment near Aci Trezza

Giovanni & Stella have thought of everything to make this beautiful and rustic-looking apartment feel like home while you stay in Sicily. We had views of Etna on one side and the Faraglioni (Cyclops rocks) of Aci Trezza on the other. Giovanni very kindly picked us up from the airport as we were without a hire car for the first few days of our holiday. When we arrived at the apartment, they'd very kindly provided us with bread, ham & cheese as well as cake, juice and wine. A supermarket and small grocery store were in very easy reach of the apartment. We enjoyed wonderful snorkelling down on the beach at Aci Trezza...an abundance of colourful fish, crabs, sea slugs (!). Restaurants there were also reasonably priced with a good choice for both adults and children. Our only regret is not being able to stay longer! Thanjs Giovanni and Stella!

Fabuloso!

We had a wonderful time, enjoyed breakfast and dinners on the terrace, and loved the beautiful views and the restful quiet of Giovanni and Stella’s delightful villa. The kitchen had all the basics and much more. Our hosts and their family couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. We highly recommend their vacation flat.

Magnifique villa très bien équipée et très bien située

Nous avons passés 10 jours dans la villa de Giovanni et Stella. La villa est magnifique, très spacieuse et très bien équipée. Le chauffage (qui nous a été nécessaire en avril) et le wifi fonctionnent très bien. La villa est décorée avec beauoup de goût, pleine de petits détails. Elle se situe dans un quartier résidentiel et occupe le 2ème étage d'un immeuble bas avec des résidents juste en dessous. Depuis la terrasse, on a un vue splendide sur la mer. Les voisins sont très calmes et très discrets. Ils n'en va pas de même pour leurs chiens malheureusement. Les aboiements d'un d'entre eux étaient continus, même en présence des maîtres et aussi la nuit. La villa est très bien située: à distance à pieds d'un supermarché, d'une boulangerie, d'un café, d'un épicerie familiale, etc. Par contre, il est indispensable d'avoir une voiture pour atteindre la villa et circuler dans les environs. Nous avons tenté la descente à pieds vers Aci Trezza, mais vu l'absence de trottoirs, le traffic constant et le dénivellé, la ballade n'était guère plaisante. Giovanni et Stella nous attendaient à notre arrivée en soirée. Ils nous avaient préparé un petit souper, y compris la brioche typique de Pâques. Le frigo contenait déjà tout le nécessaire pour le déjeuner du lendemain. Merci Giovanni, merci Stella pour cette magnifique attention. Et merci aussi de nous avoir accueillis en français. Notre niveau d'italien étant minimal. Si nous devions suggérer quelque chose: nous aurions apprécié avoir des transats (chaises longues) pour pouvoir prendre le soleil de manière plus confortable sur la magnifique terrasse. Merci encore à tous les deux pour cet agréable séjour.

Die Wohnung liegt in sehr schöner Halbhöhenlage mit Schöner Terasse und Blick auf die Bucht und Ätna

Freundlicher Empfang durch Stella und Giovanni mit Kuchen und Wein. Saubere und ansprechende Wohnung mit einem geräumigen und einem etwas kleinerem Bad. Ein A&O Markt, sowie Bäcker und Obststand und Pizzeria sind in nächster Nähe. Die 2 Wochen könnten wir sehr genießen und die Wohnung hat für uns zwei Ehepaare gut gepasst. Wir waren voll und ganz zufrieden und können die Wohnung guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

Calme et sérénité

Accueil chaleureux par Stella et Giovanni malgré notre retard. Des salés, boissons fraîche et une bouteille de vin nous attendaient. La location concerne le dernier étage d'une magnifique maison, complètement indépendant, décoré avec une attention extrême jusqu'aux détails les plus insignifiants, dans un style qui rappelle les haciendas. La propreté est remarquable avec un linge de maison type hôtellerie. Cuisine entièrement équipée avec un frigo bien rempli. Deux climatiseurs qui ont été utiles durant notre séjour au plein mois d'août. Mais le vrai plus est cette vue sur la méditerranée, qu'on peut apprécier des différentes terrasses entourant la maison. La maison est dans un quartier très calme résidentiel. Des commerces sont à moins de 500 m. La situation est idéale pour visiter la côte est de la Sicile à condition d'avoir une voiture. Il n'y a pas de plages de sable à proximité mais les baignades sont possibles, plusieurs Lidi entre Capo Mulini et Aci Castello. D'ailleurs on a découvert un magnifique endroit pour se baigner, une sorte de plateforme avec une eau cristalline juste à côté du Lido BELLATRIX à Cannizzaro à 6 min en voiture. Néanmoins ces plages ne sont pas vraiment pratiques pour les enfants, pour ça il faut aller au sud de Catane (sable) ou vers vers le nord à partir de Riposto (gallets). On tient à remercier encore Stella et Giovanni pour leur accueil (en français !) et on reviendra un jour.

Fantástica e inmejorable experiencia

Hemos estado una semana en la casa de Stella y Giovanni y solo tenemos palabras de agradecimiento por la experiencia vivida. Nos sentimos desde el primer momento como en nuestra propia casa no solo por todas las prestaciones de las que dispone sino también por el trato que nos brindaron Stella, Giovanni y sus hijos. La casa es incluso más bonita que lo que se percibe en las fotos, con todo tipo de detalles que ayudan a querer pasar mucho tiempo en ella. Las terrazas permiten disfrutar de unas vistas fabulosas del entorno (mar/Etna). Aci Castello, Aci Trezza quedan muy cerca y son visitas obligatorias para conocer la realidad auténtica y típica de la zona. La ubicación de la casa obliga a disponer de vehículo para moverse con más facilidad pero desde luego merece absolutamente la pena. Hemos estado con nuestro hijo de 8 años y él mismo comentó que quiere volver a la casa. Sin duda, experiencia inmejorable que recordaremos los tres.
