A corner of the country, strategically located a few minutes from both the center of Catania, the charming villages of the coast: Aci Castello, Aci Trezza, Acireale. A little more than half an hour drive from the resort of "Plan Provence" on the top of Mount Etna and at the same distance from the famous Taormina and its beach of Naxos. The apartment is situated at the base of a new building, in the midst of an acre of cultivation of citrus fruits, Mediterranean and offers access to a beautiful private swimming pool, surrounded by greenery. A large "open space" includes lounge with TV and sofa, kitchen with snack counter, dishwasher, dining area and a comfortable double sofa bed. Two bedrooms "internal" (one double, one single) and a spacious bathroom make the house habitable even for longer periods. Outside access to the terrace on top of the feature "gebbia" that offers a unique view of the Gulf of Catania, the city, the hills and Mount Etna.

Good location (need a car). Spacious living area (essentially a basement apartment, quite dark but cool, one ac unit in living area only, lovely grounds, views and large pool - tiles from pool due for an update. Host Rosa is lovely and helped by her grandson Marco who speaks English.

Relaxing and beautiful
Fantastic place for a relaxing holiday with the family. Great apartment with lots of space and all we needed and the pool, which we had to ourselves, was beautiful, surrounded by lemon and orange groves. Lovely views across the sea from the raised terrace, which was a beautiful place to eat. Rosa was an exceptional host, very kind and considerate, and had even prepared us a beautiful lunch when we arrived. Her grandson, Marco, was a great help with questions, and Franco, who worked there was also very helpful with things like preparing the fire pit/barbecue for us. Exactly the right balance between offering us all the help we needed but also allowing us to relax undisturbed. The setting for the apartment is lovely but only thing to be aware of is that the location is a little remote. Up a very narrow road (need to be a confident driver...) and a no pavement walk down into the village, with a car needed for anything beyond that. But this doesn't spoil it at all - just need to be ready for it - and it was a beautiful place to stay, with lovely hosts and a great pool. Grazie mille per tutto!

Great Location with fantastic pool and patio
This was our last villa on our holiday and one of the best. A welcome from our host Rosa assisted by her Niece who spoke fluent English. Well furnished and appointed apartment with flexible spaces for families. Really nice dining spaces outside with fire pit-barbecue and with great views. Don't forget to go up the water tower and see the sunset. As with most villas in this area it is essential to hire a car to get round. Smart phone maps or Tom -Tom essential to get around without getting hopelessly lost.

Wir wurden freundlich von unserer Gastgeberin empfangen, die Unterkunft liegt in einem weitläufigen Grundstück mit vielen Orangen, Zitronen und Olivenbäumen. Auch unsere Gastgeberin wohnt auf dem Gelände. Die Wohnung ist ziemlich groß, hat ein großes Badezimmer mit einer allerdings sehr kleinen Dusche. Für korpulente Personen könnte es eng werden. In der Beschreibung der Unterkunft steht, dass 2 „interne“ Schlafzimmer vorhanden sind. Leider hatten wir diesem kleinen Wort zu wenig Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt, denn es bedeutet, dass es in beiden Zimmern keine Fenster gibt! Überhaupt gibt es in der gesamten Wohnung nur ein einziges Fenster, das nach außen führt. Zur Unterkunft gehört auch ein großer Pool, dies war eines der Hauptkriterien für die Wahl dieser Wohnung. Leider war der Pool seit dem 1.10. geschlossen und abgedeckt. Ebenso gab es keine Liegestühle oder Ähnliches. Das war enttäuschend und steht auch nicht in der Beschreibung. Wohlgemerkt, die Temperaturen waren Mitte Oktober immer noch bei 27-30 Grad. Ansonsten liegt die Wohnung sehr ruhig an einer ziemlich engen Straße. Aber Autofahren auf Sizilien ist für Deutsche sowieso ein Abenteuer 😉

La nona, une hôtesse hors pair !
Rosy est une hôtesse bienveillante et pleine d'attention. Sa propriété est un véritable havre de paix au retour de toutes les randonnées et visites accessibles autour d'Acicastello. Nous avons ete admirablement bien accueillis par Rosy et ses petits enfants Marco et Elena , a tel point que lorsque nous sommes repartis nous avions la sensation de quitter des membres de notre famille. Merci Rosy Elena et Marco ! ces vacances resteront longtemps gravées dans nos coeurs. A bientôt j'espère !

Very helpful and friendly host. Rosa, Marco and Elena all helped out with practical things as well as with information and recommendations. Agata and Salvatore where also there if we needed anything. Highly recommended place with beautiful surroundings.

Beautiful Oasis
We very much enjoyed the stay with Donna Rosi. Her garden is stunning and we could shut off very well. One should be aware that the garden & pool facilities are shared with the owner and her family which however never was an issue for us.
