•receptionist isn’t very friendly
•room is covered in black mould, this is a significant hazard to health. Customers should not be exposed to this.
•the person replenishing the mini bar barged into my room in the hour after I checked in (whilst I was undressing). I barricaded my door with a chair thereafter.
•the room wasn’t cleaned for 2 days, despite asking. I returned a third day and someone had placed a do not disturb sign on my door instead of cleaning it.
•I arrived to only 1 towel, very low quality toilet roll that needed replenished daily and only 1 roll supplied. The shower was covered in dirty marks. It was clear that the room hadn’t been properly cleaned in a while.
•I’ll have to have everything I had in that room deep cleaned because of the black mould.
•the porter and man that was occasionally at the desk were very helpful.
•I chose this hotel for gym access in the morning but it didn’t open until 10am. I didn’t want to use the pool given the poor condition of the rest of the hotel.
•I did not feel safe or secure in this hotel.
