Stayed at the DoubleTree in downtown Abilene and had a great experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and in a perfect location for walking to restaurants and downtown spots. The staff was friendly and accommodating throughout my stay, and the room was spotless and comfortable. Definitely one of the nicer hotels in West Texas — I’d stay here again without hesitation.

Property is impressive for such a small town. Clean, high end and great restaurant/bar. Only downside is the general parking and Valet parking are in a padded parking lot across the street. I would expect secure underground parking for a property of this caliber.

Excellent food and really good food choices! Just a little bit expensive! The quiet rooms during the night was awesome!! The staff and the service just impeccable!! I will definitely be staying there again on my next trip to Abilene!!

There was confusion as to if the hotel allowed a visiting football team to delay check-out to 3:30-4 or if they just stayed. We were told our rooms would be ready between 2-3, closer to 3. Which was fine, but we did not actually get into our room until 5.

Don't waste your money on this over priced stay

Check in was almost two hours delayed. No excuse. The rooms weren't thoroughly cleaned because house keeping had to rush. Restaurant was not great, out of basics like whipped cream.
