Robson Street
Robson Street isn’t “up and coming”, it’s always been there. This downtown street has been Vancouver’s most famous retail and restaurant strip since the railway arrived in 1895.
Robson Street is all about shopping, dining and entertainment. At one end, sports bars and burger joints cater for sport and music fans from all over British Columbia, who make frequent pilgrimages to Robson Street’s BC Place Stadium. On the other end is West End and eventually Stanley Park’s Lost Lagoon. In between lies a shopper’s paradise. Give your wallet a break in Robson Square, where the Vancouver Art Gallery is a quiet, cultural haven.
