First time I have stayed at this hotel and I was impressed. Food was very good and not overly expensive. My bedroom looked a little tired but it was clean and comfortable so no complaints there. Would definitely stay again.

Good value
The refurb of the hotel is continuing and is being completed to a good standard. Good wi fi, buffet breakfast plentiful and good. Ample parking but you have to pay £10 - my regular bug bear - if its part of the hotel grounds it should be in the room price not seperate. The major drawback of this hotel is that despite all the refurbishment the smell of damp seems to permeate the building and is ever present in the rooms. A shame really as there has been major investment and lots of effort to make it a good hotel
