"Nice stay not great weather! "
Nice place lovely Fijian atmosphere and tradition! Relaxing.. Unfortunately our weather wasn't great and there wasn't much to do. TV and in room safe didn't work though TV was fixed. Food was expensive for what it was although the fine dining restaurant was beautiful and delicious and well worth the money! Our drinks and food were always late or forgotten at the other restaurants sometimes even when it wasn't busy. The in room canap├ęs were good idea although even though I kept saying I was vegetarian I never got vegetarian dishes! The rooms were nice bit cramped but pretty although the cleaning job wasn't good and I always felt a bit dirty in there especially the shower. All in all it was a nice place where you really got to learn about the culture and tradition and good for kids, the staff were really nice except the occasional one!

"Luxury Resort on Coral Coast"
We were exceptionally pleased with the resort facilities and staff. The food was delicious and they had an extensive range of beverages and recreational facilities. If you would like to save some money then stop on the way and buy some local beer and bottled water as these were relatively expensive. If you are looking for a family friendly resort with the focus on staying in the resort then this is the place for you! We loved our stay but prefer travel experiences that allow us to interact with the true culture of a country. If you are looking for an international cultural experience then this is probably not the best choice; 80% of the guests were Australian and we felt that we could have been in a Fijian 'themed' resort in Australia. Snorkeling is pretty good - lots of beautiful fish but no coral to speak of. Please be mindful of the rip near the channel and check in with the activities desk prior to entering the water. Bring reef shoes as the beach is covered in coral and shell debris - pretty but sharp.

"Lovely smaller hotel for relaxing!"
We enjoyed our stay at the Bedarra, while it is a little dated the facilities were great and the staff were amazing and made you feel very welcome. It was wonderful to spend time relaxing by the pool area and by the beach, we also used their kayak and had a lovely morning out on the water. Would definitely stay there again.

"Great location, great price"
We stayed 7 days with our 2y old, had a rental car from Khan's in Nadi and after traveling throughout the south pacific and Hawai'i this was one of our favorites. Having the rental car was great, but not a must: you can easily and affordably get taxis to come and take you to see the various sites. Two thumbs up, keep it natural!

"Fiji's hidden secret"
Spent 5 days in this beautiful location. Stayed in beach front bure with plunge pool. Woke up each morning looking at ocean, devine! Staff were amazing! They made my stay so special, beautiful approachable people who make staying at De Vos a memory I will treasure. The location and facilities are very good but staff are the true secret to making this an amazing place to stay.

Get a taste of the local life on a Sigatoka River Safari. Cruise up the river in style as you visit authentic Fijian villages, and experience a day in the life of a villager. You'll get to see firsthand their activities, gatherings and rites - a true insight into their daily life. As you follow the river further inland the Sigatoka Valley is home to fantastic stores with handicrafts and unique pottery for sale. Buckle up and take the hair-raising drive to Nakbuta - along a road perilously close to the edge of the ridge. Once you arrive the reward is definitely worth it, where you can enjoy panoramic views across the island and valleys from the summit.

Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park rests at the mouth of the river, and features impressive pebbly monoliths that have been formed over millions of years. Archaeological excavations here have uncovered pottery that is over 2600 years old, and is also where they discovered the largest burial site in the Pacific.

Nature lovers can't miss Fiji's only wildlife park, the Kula Eco Park. Walking through the trails you will see plenty of native Fijian wildlife, which includes Fiji's only native land mammal, the Fijian flying fox. As you walk amidst the forest enjoy the thousands of bird calls and the constant drum of life. It's here where you know you truly are in the wildest parts of Fiji. Love diving? Book a trip to the reef and experience some of the best diving in Fiji, which is full of marine life. The fishing is also excellent, and deep sea charters are available for keen anglers to chase big game marlin and sailfish.
