Wye River

For a small coastal settlement, Wye River has a lot of admirers. This scenic town adds yet another exclamation mark to all the hype about the Great Ocean Road.

Wye River is, as its name suggest, a river town. But this secluded hamlet also happens to be one of the most scenic stretches of the Great Ocean Road, thanks to its long sandy beach and backdrop of rainforest-covered mountains. Stroll to Point Sturt or Separation Creek in the Great Otway National Park, or simply visit the Wye Beach Hotel for drinks with a view. Why Wye? Why not!
