Day 1: Zanzibar – Dar es Salaam – Mikumi National Park – Maasai Cultural Tour

Your adventure begins early in the morning with pickup from your hotel in Zanzibar (pickup time depends on your hotel location). You will be transferred to the ferry terminal to catch the 7:00 AM fast boat to Dar es Salaam.

Upon arrival at Dar es Salaam port, you will meet your professional safari driver guide, who will warmly welcome you and escort you to your safari vehicle. You will then begin the scenic drive to Mikumi National Park, passing through beautiful Tanzanian countryside.

During the journey, you will stop for lunch in Morogoro town before continuing the drive to Mikumi.

You are expected to arrive in Mikumi at around 3:00 PM. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge and have some time to relax and freshen up.

Later in the afternoon, you will visit a nearby Maasai Village for an authentic cultural experience. Here you will learn about Maasai traditions, lifestyle, dances, and local customs.

At around 6:30 PM, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Mikumi National Park

After an early breakfast, you will depart for a full-day game drive inside Mikumi National Park.

Mikumi is home to a wide variety of wildlife including:

Lions

Elephants

Giraffes

Zebras

Buffaloes

Wildebeests

Antelopes

Hippos and many bird species

You will enjoy the park’s beautiful landscapes, open plains, and rich wildlife while experiencing the serenity and tranquility of nature.

A picnic lunch will be served inside the park.

In the late afternoon around 6:00 PM, you will exit the park and return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Mikumi – Dar es Salaam – Zanzibar

After early breakfast at around 6:00 AM, you will check out and start the drive back to Dar es Salaam at approximately 6:30–7:00 AM.

You will arrive in Dar es Salaam in the late afternoon, where you will be transferred to the ferry terminal to catch the evening boat back to Zanzibar.

Upon arrival in Zanzibar, transfer back to your hotel.
