Activity itinerary

Vancouver (Pass by)

Start your adventure in the vibrant city of Vancouver, a coastal gem surrounded by ocean and mountains. While we won’t stop here, the scenic drive out of the city offers a taste of its natural beauty and skyline charm. As we head towards Whistler, you’ll enjoy stunning views of Vancouver’s waterfront and forests—just a preview of the breathtaking landscapes that await along the Sea to Sky Highway. Sit back, relax, and let the journey begin!

Porteau Cove Provincial Park

  • 15m
Kick off your adventure with a visit to this coastal treasure nestled between the mountains and the sea. Porteau Cove offers a front-row seat to the deep-blue waters of Howe Sound, BC’s southernmost fjord. Breathe in the fresh ocean air, walk along the pier, and take in panoramic views of snow-capped peaks reflecting on the water. It's a peaceful and photogenic spot that's perfect for a quiet moment before the journey continues — keep an eye out for seals or even orcas in the distance!

Shannon Falls Provincial Park

  • 30m
Next, feel the rush of nature as you stand at the base of Shannon Falls, the third-highest waterfall in British Columbia. Cascading from a staggering 335 metres (1,099 feet), these falls are both powerful and elegant, surrounded by mossy trees and granite cliffs. A short, accessible trail leads you through a lush West Coast rainforest to the perfect viewing platform. The thunder of the water and the mist in the air create a revitalising experience — a true natural wonder that brings you up close to BC’s raw beauty.

Sea to Sky Gondola

  • 1h 30m
  • Admission ticket included
Prepare for a jaw-dropping ride up the mountainside aboard the Sea to Sky Gondola, where you’ll rise 885 metres (2,900 feet) above sea level in just 10 minutes. Each gondola cabin features floor-to-ceiling windows for maximum views of the surrounding fjords, forests, and mountains. At the top, take your time to explore the Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge, panoramic viewing platforms, and alpine trails. The views of Howe Sound, Mount Garibaldi, and the Tantalus Range are nothing short of spectacular — this is a bucket-list-worthy experience that will take your breath away.

Brandywine Falls Provincial Park

  • 25m
Tucked away in a peaceful forest just south of Whistler lies Brandywine Falls, a 70-meter (230-foot) cascade plunging into a deep canyon. The easy walk through old-growth forest leads to a dramatic viewpoint that offers one of the most picture-perfect waterfall scenes in BC. The falls are surrounded by basalt cliffs and framed by wildflowers and greenery in summer. According to local legend, the falls were named after a bet made between two surveyors over a bottle of brandy — adding a touch of history to this natural marvel.

Whistler

  • 1h 30m
Arriving in Whistler, you’ll discover a world-famous alpine village that blends outdoor adventure with charming mountain culture. Walk through pedestrian-only streets lined with boutique shops, galleries, restaurants, and cafés. Whether you choose to enjoy a leisurely lunch on a sun-soaked patio, visit Olympic Plaza where the 2010 Winter Games took centre stage, or simply explore the area’s scenic walking trails, Whistler has something for every type of traveller. It’s lively, vibrant, and framed by rugged mountain peaks — the perfect mid-day stop to explore at your own pace.

Green Lake Provincial Park

  • 15m
Before the return trip, we’ll visit Green Lake, a hidden gem just outside Whistler. This striking glacial lake is named for its vibrant turquoise hue, a result of rock flour from the surrounding glaciers. Set against a backdrop of towering mountains and quiet forest, Green Lake is a tranquil and stunning photo stop that often goes unnoticed by the typical tourist. It’s a peaceful finale to your scenic journey — and the perfect place to reflect on an unforgettable day of exploration.
