Bask in the beauty of the Vila Velha State Park, which constitutes over 380,000 hectares of lush greenery and intriguing sandstone formations once completely covered by ocean.

Leave Curitiba in the morning and travel to the park, about 56 miles (90 km), to admire a landscape shaped by volcanic activity, glaciation, and erosion. Marvel at goblet-shaped rock formations, lagoons, and furnas—craters created by collapsed sandstone that fill with water.

The tour continues with a visit to the Witmarsum Colony with a delicious typical German lunch. The village is full of family stores that sell colonial products produced in the region, such as cheese, salami and biscuits.
