In the morning, board your coach for a tour of the city highlights. Your guide will introduce you to this delightful city, which is surrounded by parklands with a blend of historic buildings, wide streets, cafes and restaurants. Your morning will include a drive past Adelaide's cultural precinct - North Terrace, Adelaide Botanic Gardens and the beautiful Botanic Park. Drive through the historic North Adelaide, where you'll see tree-lined streets, mansions and historic buildings.
Stop at the National Wine Centre of Australia, located on the edge of Adelaide's stunning Botanic Gardens where you will have free time to explore the Wine Discovery Journey Museum, buy a coffee or enjoy the large selection of wines on offer in their tasting room (additional cost). Your morning will also include a photo stop at the iconic St Peters Cathedral or Adelaide Oval Precinct.
After a lunch break (not included), enjoy a scenic drive to Mount Lofty Summit, Adelaide's highest peak. Take in the spectacular views of the city and the coastline - a perfect photo opportunity. Drive through the Adelaide Hills charming villages of Crafers, Stirling, Aldgate, and Bridgewater before arriving at the Beerenberg Farm Shop. Here, you will have time to explore the entire range of products in the Farm Shop, plus a selection of souvenirs and gifts. Then it's on to Hahndorf, Australia's oldest German settlement.
Spend the afternoon exploring the high street of Hahndorf where you can sample local produce, or check out the local arts and crafts before enjoying afternoon tea or a traditional German beer tasting at the very popular Hahndorf Inn.
