Meet your guide in Pigadia when booking the transfer or at the starting location of the walk in Pini Volada. From Pini after about 30 minutes we reach the highest village on Karpathos. From Othos we will walk up to a fantastic viewpoint where you can look out over the Aegean Sea. We make our way from the east coast to the west coast where we reach the green vineyards of Kallenes. We can also see neighbouring island of Kasos on the horizon. After a tea break in the shade of a local church, we continue towards the mountain village of Stes. We return to Pini at the end of the walk. The walk takes about 3 hours at a normal walking pace. Be prepared for the wind and a fantastic green and fertile landscape.
