What you can expect

Say farewell to Manchester as we embark on a literary adventure to Haworth, the Brontë sisters' hillside home. Wander through this quaint town, soak in the history, and visit the Brontë Parsonage Museum (note that opening times may vary). Enjoy the charming shops, cafes, and cobblestone streets that inspired the sisters.

For fans of The Railway Children, don’t miss the steam railway at Oakworth Station nearby. Grab lunch at a local café or take away to savour the scenery.

Next, we drive through the breathtaking Yorkshire Dales, filled with meandering hills, craggy moorlands, and limestone formations. Our stop in Grassington, known as the fictional Darrowby from All Creatures Great & Small, offers free time to explore and grab a bite to eat. Don’t forget to visit the beautiful Linton Falls, just a short walk away.

We then head to Aysgarth Falls, a stunning three-tiered waterfall that has attracted visitors for over 200 years, including poet William Wordsworth.

Next up is Wensleydale Creamery, a cheese lover's paradise, where you can taste the iconic Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese and more.

Finally, we visit the impressive Ribblehead Viaduct, a marvel of Victorian engineering with stunning views of the Three Peaks. After a few photos, we return to Manchester, arriving in the early evening.
