Know before you book

    • You must be able to swim on your own if you choose to snorkel.
    • Children 4-16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
    • Snorkelling Ages: 6yrs and up with experienced swimming/snorkelling skills
    • Ride Along Ages: 4 yrs and up — underaged must be supervised by an adult at all times
    • Non-swimmers can join as Ride-Along observers, remaining on deck aboard the Hoku Nui. Ride-Along guests often see manta rays clearly from above the illuminated water and enjoy the full crew briefing, warm drinks, chocolate, and bar service.
    • Sea Paradise's manta ray sighting rates run 85 to 95 percent, year-round

    Harmless to humans, they are drawn to the spotlights that light up the night to eat plankton. These mesmerising creatures sometimes gracefully glide within inches of awe-struck snorkellers.
