Overview

When your cruise ship docks in Skagway, enjoy a shore excursion to see the best sights of the city and take in the views from the majestic White Pass Summit area. Following the Klondike Highway by mini-bus, you'll have the opportunity to photograph the Gold Rush Cemetery, Skagway Scenic Overlook and the “Welcome to Alaska” sign.

Know before you book

  • Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
  • Public transport options are available nearby
  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • Original valid passport is required to bring on the day of travel (no copies).
  • For non-US/Canadian citizens USA Visa may be required (no copies).
  • Children 15 or younger must bring a Passport (or if USA or Canadian citizen can bring an original/certified birth certificate-no copies). Children 16 and older and all adults must have a valid Passport.
  • Not scooter accessible. No battery operated equipment can be loaded onto buses. Collapsible wheelchairs or Walkers can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them to board and disembark. Passenger must be able to walk some and boarding bus requires a few steps. YOU MUST INFORM OPERATOR IF ARE BRINGING A COLLAPSIBLE WHEELCHAIR OR WALKER.
  • Pick up location: Look for a representative holding a FRONTIER EXCURSIONS sign. Please be 15 minutes early. Please bring your Passports. For Broadway and Ore dock, meet off the pier where the dock meets land just outside the security gate next to a large parking area. For the Railway dock, there are two docking positions. For ships tendering to the small boat harbour, walk up the ramp after disembarking the tender and look to your left for Zone B meeting area. If you are taking a shuttle bus off the pier from your ship, once you get off the shuttle bus look to your right for Zone B. Zone B is near Skagway Fish Co.
  • At the time of booking, traveller must provide their cruise ship name. If not on a cruise ship please contact operator for meeting instructions.
