Overview

Start from the quiet village of Vranjina, where you can rent a kayak or SUP and set out to explore Skadar Lake on your own terms. No rush, no route — just you, the water, and whatever the day brings.

Important: prices are per kayak or per SUP board (equipment unit), not per person. 1 traveller = 1 kayak or 1 SUP board.

Paddle through slow-moving channels and open lake stretches. Pass under leaning trees, along reed walls, through lily-covered shallows. With over 270 bird species around, you might spot cormorants drying their wings, egrets lifting off the water, or a silent pair of swans gliding ahead. If you're lucky, even a Dalmatian pelican or two.

There’s no guide, no schedule — just space to drift, stop, swim, or sit quietly and listen. It’s a simple way to spend a few hours, but one that tends to stick with you.
