At our floating base camp, you'll receive instruction on the safe use of ocean-going, two-person kayaks. These stable yet manoeuvrable crafts let you enjoy the beauty of the protected bays and inlets near Sitka from a serene, natural perspective. An experienced guide, well versed in paddling techniques and the marine environment of the area, will lead groups of up to six kayaks. Each of the waterways travelled holds unique attractions, whether colourful intertidal invertebrates, an eagle swooping from the treetops, or the grandeur of the lush rainforest. You may even see a brown bear, harbour seals, or a Sitka black-tailed deer.
