Know before you book

  • A passport with at least 6 months validity is required
  • All travellers, including infants, must hold a valid ticket
  • Seats are subject to availability
  • From 15 July 2026, all Sindo Ferry ticketing, check-in, immigration clearance, and boarding operations will be relocated to the new Sindo Ferry Terminal at 5 HarbourFront Avenue, #01-11 Singapore Cruise Centre, Singapore 099549.
  • For travel between 7–14 July 2026, passengers on interlining services must first collect their boarding pass at the current Sindo Ferry counter on Level 3, HarbourFront Centre.
  • After collecting the boarding pass, passengers on interlining services should proceed to the new Singapore Cruise Centre HarbourFront to board their ferry.
  • Passengers travelling on Sindo Ferry services between 7–14 July 2026 will continue to complete immigration clearance at the current HarbourFront Centre Ferry Terminal.
  • From 15 July 2026 onwards, all ticket collection, immigration clearance, and boarding for Sindo Ferry and interlining services will take place at the new Singapore Cruise Centre HarbourFront (#01-11).

What you can expect

As one of the region’s leading ferry operators, Sindo Ferry is committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and efficient travel experience. Through significant investments in fleet modernization, the company has upgraded its vessels with enhanced passenger comfort, improved fuel efficiency, and faster sailing performance.

Complementing these upgrades, Sindo Ferry has expanded its fleet with the addition of new high-speed passenger ferries built to meet stringent international safety standards, including HSC Code 2000 requirements. Today, Sindo Ferry operates a modern fleet of 15 passenger ferries, continuing its dedication to delivering reliable service, passenger safety, and seamless travel across the region.

Effective 15 July 2026, ferry and cruise operations at HarbourFront Centre will be relocated to a new terminal building located approximately 70 metres from the current terminal within the HarbourFront Precinct. Passengers are advised to allow additional time for their journey and follow on-site directional signage.

Temporary Fuel Surcharge

Due to continued increases in global fuel costs, Sindo Ferry has implemented a Temporary Fuel Surcharge (TFS) effective from 12 March 2026. The surcharge applies to all passengers on a per-journey basis:

  • Departing from Singapore terminals (HarbourFront Centre and Tanah Merah) – SGD 6.00 per passenger
  • Departing from Indonesia terminals (Batam, Tanjung Pinang, and Tanjung Balai) – IDR 65,000 per passenger

The surcharge is subject to review and adjustment based on market conditions.
