St. Solomon's Catacombs (Pass by)
Hidden beneath the streets of Kato Paphos, lies a labyrinthine underworld steeped in mystery and ancient tales. Known as the Agia Solomoni catacombs, this fascinating archaeological site. The Catacombs of St. Solomonia are carved in the limestone mountain. A cave church with chapels was created underground. The catacombs attracted attention of the crusaders who arrived on the island in the 13th century. The walls and vaults of the grottoes were painted by their artists. Now unfortunately only small fragments remain. The Catacombs of St. Solomonia is the only one underground church in the world. There is also invisible source and near the entrance is an ancient Wish Tree. There are a full coloured ribbons on the tree. It has made wishes.
Church of Agia Kyriaki and post St. Paul (Pass by)
St. Paul's Pillar stands as one of the most astonishing cult landmarks in Cyprus, attracting numerous tourists who come to witness its remarkable presence. Situated within the courtyard of the Church of Chrysopolitissa, also known as the Church of St. Kyriaki, the pillar holds a significant place of reverence among pilgrims. Despite its modest appearance and the significant damage it has suffered over time, this pillar is revered as a sacred Christian relic. The genuine antiquity of this monument is truly awe-inspiring, as it dates back to the first century AD, making it approximately 2,000 years old. The Column of the Apostle Paul – the marble pillar to which, according to the legend, the Apostle Paul, who preached in Paphos, was tied during his scourging.
Kato Paphos Archaeological Park

The Archaeological Park of Paphos is an amazing outdoor museum that's packed with unique ancient treasures. Imagine walking through this park and discovering relics from a long time ago. Back in the 1960s, construction workers accidentally found the remains of the ancient city of Nea Paphos. This park is special because it's recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. There are remnants from Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, the Byzantine Empire, and even the Ottoman Empire. But the real stars of the show are the ancient mosaics. Despite their age, some dating back to over 2,000 years ago, these mosaics are still vibrant and colourful. You can find them on the floors of four wealthy citizens' villas: Dionysus, Theseus, Aion, and Orpheus. Each mosaic tells a storey from mythology. The oldest mosaic, from the 4th century BCE, shows Scylla, a fearsome monster mentioned in Homer's "Odyssey." The Archaeological Park of Paphos is like a time machine that lets you explore the past.
Paphos Harbour Castle
