Description

Travel to the stunning Yasawa Islands for a day spent learning about Fijian deities, watching compelling cultural performances and exploring magical limestone caves. Afterwards, head to pristine beaches where sugary white sands meet the azure waters of the South Pacific Ocean.

From your Fiji hotel, get picked up (free transfers only from Airport and Nadi Hotels) and travel to a nearby dock where you hop on board a seaplane bound for Yasawa Island. Cruise over the ocean and admire bird's-eye views of the stunning tropical landscapes spread out beneath you. Make a graceful landing, then head to a nearby village where a traditional ceremony welcomes you to the island and grants you access to visit the limestone caves. Said to be home to the deity Ulutini, these incredible caves are only accessible after the ceremony is complete.

After the performance is over, don a swimming costume and follow your guide to the caves. Dive into the navy blue water and swim into quiet grottoes and hidden coves as you explore every nook and cranny of this incredible geological formation.

When you’re ready for a break, head to the island’s south end, where you can relax on sparkling shores bordered by neon blue water in an area known as the Blue Lagoon. This incredible beach scene is famous for its unspoilt beauty and has been used in feature films, including the 1980 classic The Blue Lagoon.
