Participants will meet our team 5 minutes before the session start time at our Big Blue Aqua Surf Lorry on Santa Monica Beach, where our instructors will get everyone fitted with wetsuits and equipment. We’ll begin with a fun and informative land lesson covering the fundamentals of surfing, including ocean safety, how to read wave conditions, proper technique, and how to pop up on the board. This portion also includes introductions and a quick orientation to make everyone feel comfortable and ready to go. After that, we head into the water with our instructors, who will guide you step-by-step as you practice catching waves. Whether it’s your first time or you’ve surfed before, our team works closely with each participant to build confidence, improve skills, and make sure you’re having a great time throughout the session. Following the lesson, participants can rinse off at the public beach showers before heading out—feeling refreshed, accomplished, and stoked from their time in the ocean.
