- Discovering Saffron

Time: 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM (approximately) – 4 hours
The experience:
10:30 a.m. – Morning welcome: Arrival and welcome coffee/herbal tea to awaken the senses.
11:00 a.m. – Visit to the Saffron Field: Guests join us to visit the saffron fields.
12:00 pm – History of saffron and its use in cooking: In our workshop, guests will learn about the centuries-old history of this precious spice, its cultivation using the biodynamic method, and its use in cooking.
12:45 pm – Tuscan brunch: A hearty tasting session / light lunch featuring our products: bruschetta with “Olio Nuovo” (new olive oil), pecorino cheese with saffron-infused honey, and a warm seasonal dish (e.g., saffron risotto or saffron soup). Water, Chianti wine.
