What you can expect

  • Board the ferry for a scenic one‑hour crossing to Moyogalpa, the main port of Ometepe.

    Once on the island, local transport will take you to Playa Mangos, a peaceful beach setting where you can relax, swim, and enjoy the surroundings, taking in views of the island’s volcanic landscape.

    Afterwards, continue to Ojo de Agua, one of Ometepe’s most famous attractions, known for its clear, refreshing natural pools surrounded by lush greenery. Learn about the site and enjoy a swim in its calm waters.

    The day concludes with the ferry back to San Jorge and transport to San Juan del Sur.
