Our tour typically lasts between 4–8 hours, but the duration may vary depending on the cloud conditions and aurora activity to give you the best possible chance to see the lights. Pickup and meeting time also adapts to the forecast and is usually between 18.00 and 19:00. The exact time will be confirmed by our team at 15:00 on the day of your tour through email.

Small group option:
The tour begins with your guide picking you up directly from your accommodation. With maximum of 8 customers per guide.

Group Tour Option:
You will be confirmed the exact meeting time at Polar Lapland's office Rovakatu 19 by our team at 15.00 on the day of the tour through email. Group tour option does not include pick-up service.

Once all guests are on board, your guide will share the secret game plan — where you’ll be heading and how the night’s chase will unfold. From there, you’ll set off towards clear skies and hidden locations, following the latest weather and aurora forecasts to find the best possible viewing spots.

Once we find the lights, your guide will take professional photos of you with the Northern Lights. You’ll receive the photos the day after the tour to keep as memories forever. IF WE ARE UNABLE TO TAKE A PHOTO OF THE NORTHERN LIGHTS DURING THE TOUR, YOU WILL RECEIVE 100% MONEY BACK.
