Overview

  • This private day trip from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi Elephants’ Home and Nature, operated by Vacio Travel, combines Thailand’s natural beauty, culture, and history in one meaningful experience.

Unlike commercial elephant camps, this sanctuary practices ethical tourism — no torture, no hooks, and no performances. All elephants are rescued from hard labour, and you can prepare food and walk with them through the forest, learning about their rehabilitation journey.

Enjoy a riverside lunch at Chan Nature Café, then visit the spiritual Wat Tham Suea (Tiger Cave Temple) and the scenic Glass Skywalk overlooking the River Kwai. Later, ride the historic Death Railway and stroll across the Bridge on the River Kwai, a symbol of peace and remembrance.

With private transfers from Bangkok, professional guides, and a focus on animal welfare and responsible travel, this tour offers an authentic and thoughtful way to explore Kanchanaburi.
