Overview

This is a great opportunity to go on a return transfer with us. We are a very reputable company whose owners have almost 25 years experience in the tourism industry.

We make sure travellers are comfortable as we use latest luxury vans on the market which are a favourite for travellers. Travellers can decide to do as they wish along this trip like having more time on the safari.

They can also decide - subject to time availability go wine tasting on their way back. Since the wineries are next to the motorway we can accommodate them without any additional cost. They can also buy wine direct from the cellar if they so wish. We give travellers opportunities to stop and take photos on along the way.

Activity itinerary

Stellenbosch (Pass by)
Drive through this ever popular wine region which is one of the closest to Cape Town. Here you drive past attractive wineries stretching all the way to the mountains. Besides the wineries you can also view the dairy farms, poultry farms and olives. This is the most popular wine region in South Africa and the leader of the big 3 close to Cape Town.
Paarl Mountain Nature Reserve (Pass by)
Situated 60 km from Cape Town is this historic town of Paarl. Enjoy the picturesque landscape of the fynbos vegetation (in the nature reserve) dominated by massive rounded granite rocks. View the Paarl Rock which is a huge granite rock formed by three rounded outcrops that make up Paarl Mountain. This is the second largest granite outcrop in the world with the other being The Uluru Rock in Australia
Afrikaans Language Monument (Pass by)
Drive by this eye catching language monument which consists of various tapering structures of convex and concave nature symbolising the influences of different languages and cultures of Afrikaans itself. They also symbolise political developments in South Africa. At the bottom is an open stadium where concerts and events are held.
Huguenot Tunnel (Pass by)
Drive through this 4km long tunnel which extends the N1 motorway through the Du Toitskloof mountains separating Paarl from Worcester. The scenic drive starts from here till you get to Aquila Game reserve. As you drive out you are welcomed by a majestic valley with two mountain ranges along the highway towards Worcester. The rocky and jagged edged mountains are a marvel to watch especially in the morning with the sun's rays jutting out.
Worcester (Pass by)
Pass through this old town in the Western Cape 120 km (75 miles) north-east of Cape Town. Worcester is surrounded by the Du Toitskloof Mountains, the Slanghoek, Little Drakenstein, Elandskloof and Lemiet mountain ranges. To the north you are welcomed by the Hex river Mountains. This is a totally amazing landscape which comes tops to any geographic topographer. In the centre of the valley are vast stretches of vineyards and olive farms.
De Doorns (Pass by)
Drive through this amazing but relatively narrow valley. It is situated in the heart of the Hex river Valley - centre of a thriving grape growing region with over 200 table grape farms. This gorgeous valley runs 25 km long measuring only 4km wide at its widest. Lookout for the towering peaks of the Hex River Mountains to the north and the Kwadouw Mountain Range to the south which account for the region's magnificent and rugged scenery. Take a view of the Matroosberg peak at 2230 metres is one of the highest in the Western Cape. The ideal weather and landscape enables locals to produce premium table grapes largely for export.
Aquila Private Game Reserve
  • 4h
