Although the tour was “guided” in reality the mumbling of the driver and the inaudibility of the bus speakers (plus background talking by other passengers) made it just a bus that took you to places you weren’t sure what to do at. Scones and tea at a local establishment did not appear. Puffing Billy train ride had no guided portion and there was no real opportunity to learn more about it other than what you could read on the inside of the train car (which was impossible if you sat on the far end of the car). Incidentally, recent rule changes now forbid the handing of legs off the outside of the cars.
