What you can expect
Escape the hustle and bustle of the capital and discover the charming serenity of the Cameron Highlands on this 2-day guided tour. Explore the natural beauty of the area's verdant hills, cascading waterfalls, renowned tea plantations and quaint villages.
Day 1: Begin with a scenic drive up to the cool Cameron Highlands where temperatures rarely drop below 50 or rise above 70 degrees Fahrenheit (10 to 21 C). Along the way, admire extensive rolling hills full of rich vegetation and flowing waterfalls.
Your first stop is a renowned tea plantation. Hear how the cool highland climate provides the ideal environment for tea farming and see how the tea leaf is processed. Then head out into the farms and pick some leaves as you continue to absorb the surrounding natural beauty.
Day 2: Embark on a morning tour of Agro Market, where you can immerse yourself in the Cameron Highlands' agriculture. Discover a strawberry farm, flower trusses and a greenhouse research centre. Then continue to Rose Valley, a garden boasting 450 different types of roses, as well as a range of other exotic flowers.
Your next stop is Sam Poh Temple, the fourth largest Buddhist temple in the country. Here, high on the hilltop, absorb its spiritual tranquillity and admire the small town of Brinchang below. See praying resident monks and smell the aroma of burning incense. Your tour ends with a scenic drive back down to the lowlands and Kuala Lumpur.
