Spend a day circling Mt. Fuji in a small group of no more than nine guests. The route covers six viewpoints around the Fuji Five Lakes—two lakes, a spring village, a lakeside park, a convenience-store corner, a pagoda viewpoint, and a straight country lane. The coach leaves Tokyo in the morning and returns in the early evening.
Mt. Fuji is Japan's highest peak at 3,776 m and an active volcano, about 100 km west of Tokyo. Visibility changes with the weather, so checking the forecast before you book is worthwhile.
Departure from Tokyo
• 07:30 — JR Tokyo Station, Marunouchi North Exit
• 08:00 — Shinjuku Station West Exit (in front of SMBC Bank)
• Hotel pickup is available if selected at booking
Luggage can be carried on the coach; please note it when booking. Your driver-guide will confirm meeting details by email or WhatsApp the day before departure.
Lake Yamanaka (about 40 minutes)
The largest of the Fuji Five Lakes, with a swan-boat pier. Swans gather near the shore, and on a calm day, the lake reflects the mountain.
Oshino Hakkai (about 70 minutes)
A small village built around eight spring ponds fed by snowmelt. Clear water, thatched houses, and watermills line the paths. This is your lunch stop: local dishes like grilled dango and soba are sold at your own cost.
Lake Kawaguchi, Oishi Park (about 40 minutes)
A lakeside park with a walking path and flower beds changing through the year (tulips in spring, lavender in summer, kochia in autumn). The park shop sells lavender ice cream and local produce.
Lawson, Kawaguchiko Station (about 20 minutes)
A convenience store where the blue sign lines up with Mt. Fuji. Take photos from the opposite pavement. Use this stop for drinks and snacks—eating and drinking are not allowed on the bus.
Shimoyoshida observation area and Chureito Pagoda (about 60 minutes)
Climb roughly 398 steps to the deck, where the red pagoda, Fujiyoshida rooftops, and Mt. Fuji line up in one frame. The climb takes 10 to 15 minutes; guests can also wait at the lower level. Cherry blossoms and maple leaves frame the pagoda seasonally.
Hikawa Clock Shop (about 20 minutes)
A straight lane running from the shop towards Mt. Fuji, framed by old streetlamps. On a clear day, the peak closes the road perfectly. It's a short stop, so have your camera ready.
Return to Tokyo
The coach leaves the Fuji area in the late afternoon and returns to Tokyo in the evening, with drop-off points depending on your booking option. Timing depends on traffic and site crowds.
