Your first stop will be to the magical Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park. Encounter friendly koalas, hand-feed kangaroos and wallabies, then continue to Phillip Island.

Absorb spectacular coastal views as you travel to Phillip Island and take a stroll along the Nobbies boardwalk. Marvel at the stunning rock formations and seemingly endless ocean views.

Arrive at Summerland Beach, home to Victoria's largest colony of fairy penguins. Experience with Bunyip not bad. Tour guides I have met are both kind and helpful. Moonlit sanctuary is a small zoo, mostly kangeroos, wallabies and koalas, thats about it. I enjoyed the penguin parade though you couldnt really see the parade, too dark. Dont bother going down the viewing area, just walk along the boardwalk and wait for the penguins to return to their burrows, you need good eyesight to see them coming from the sea, and they are not going to walk towards humans.

Fabulous trip. The koalas at the sanctuary are just too cute! Some great views and many kangaroos hopping around in The undergrowth. Penguins were gorgeous...amazing experience watching them come ashore and make their way up the little paths

Great afternoon and evening, very busy at the penguin site (but expected because it was the summer holidays) but is was very well managed, nice bonus dropping in on the local zoo as well.
