What you can expect

The tour begins with the departure from the selected hotels to start visiting some of the most important points of the city of Salvador.

Our tour will start at Farol da Barra where we will stop for photos. We will continue towards the Tororó Dike, beautifully decorated with sculptures of the orixás, the African gods presented to our people by the slaves coming from Africa. The itinerary follows the avenue of the Valley of Nazaré and arrives in the lower city, passing through the port area and crossing the commercial district of Calçada, where you can see the beautiful building that houses the Railway Station.

Just ahead is the square of Rome, where we have the social works of Sister Dulce, it follows the avenue of Dendezeiros, reaching the hill of Bonfim, where we will stop for photos at the most famous church in Salvador due to the traditional “Lavagem do Bonfim”, celebrated by the people of Bahia, throwing water on the steps of the temple in a party that lasts the whole day.

We will pass by the Monte Serrat Fort, a place of unique beauty, union of the architecture preserved from the time of its foundation with the beautiful view of the Bay of All Saints. Then we will make a stop at the Mercado Modelo to enjoy the local handicrafts, where colourful handicrafts, the sea in the background and the sound of the berimbau enchant tourists and people who pass by.

The tour ends with the return to our hotels.
