More than a meal, in 2 full hours, it's a real cultural and sensory experience, a rare moment to experience authentic Lapland.

Just a stone's throw from the legendary Route 92, on the way to the North Cape (Nordkapp), our experience takes you far beyond the usual tourist clichés. Here, there are no crowds or buses, but an intimate atmosphere, in the heart of the Muotkatunturi Natural Park, between “Tunturi” hills, snow-covered forests, and frozen rivers. In this preserved setting, you'll discover a wild and silent Lapland, where fire, wood, and nature are your travel companions.

In our Lapland house, we welcome you for a timeless workshop. With our passionate guide, you'll learn to master the simple but essential steps to light a fire in the polar cold. Together, around the flames, you'll prepare smoked salmon according to a traditional Lapland recipe.

Everyone gets their hands dirty. No matter your experience, the activity is designed to be accessible and friendly. Here, we take our time: everyone participates, shares, and savours the magic of the moment. While the salmon gently smokes, you let yourself be enveloped by the muffled sounds of nature: the crackling of the wood, the breath of the wind, the water of the river… and sometimes, the unexpected visit of a solitary reindeer.

Once the salmon is ready, it's time to share! You'll enjoy this typical dish together around a large table in our traditional log cabin. The atmosphere is warm and authentic: wood stove, furs, soft light… a true Nordic cocoon that invites you to relax. Here, luxury isn't about excess, but about simplicity and human warmth.

And if nature is smiling on you, the sky lights up: the Northern Lights dance above you, creating a magical spectacle. Depending on the season, you could also enjoy the midnight sun or the flamboyant colours of the autumn Ruska.
