Situated in the lower gorges of the Verdon, the Baudinard canyon is home to two lakes: Lac de Montpezat and Lac d'Artignosc, offering pretty beaches and calm waters for paddling at your own pace! The canyon itself is a narrow corridor bordered by 150-metre-high cliffs, and the rock faces are pierced by numerous caves.
At the Aquattitude nautical base in Montpezat, which also has free parking, toilets and changing rooms, you can choose between a 3-hour or 6-hour canoe-kayak rental, leaving you plenty of time to enjoy your surroundings.
At Aquattitude, you can rent a solo or two-seater kayak, as well as a 3 or 4-seater canoe (with children), making it the perfect activity to share with friends or family. Prices are per craft, so don't hesitate to choose the canoe-kayak size that suits you best!
You'll be equipped with life jackets, paddles and a watertight can.
Before you embark, the staff at the base will explain the course to you, so you'll know where you stand and the specific features of the routes, as well as the ideal places to disembark and picnic.
