A 25-minute cruise around Ine Bay; feed the seagulls (gull food ¥100/pack). Departures on the hour and half-hour. Ticket approx. ¥1,200 for adults, ¥600 for children (6–12). If cancelled due to rough seas, free time instead.

Chion-ji Temple & Monju-do – A temple dedicated to the Bodhisattva of wisdom, similar to China’s Wenchang God. The temple gate is the largest in the Tango region.

One of Japan’s three remaining thatched-roof villages, along with Shirakawa-go (Gifu) and Ouchi-juku (Fukushima).
