Join a small group day trip or multi-day trip to see the amazing natural phenomenon of Gunung Leuser National Park in Bukit Lawang departing from Medan.

There are two options of this tour, the option for those who just want a day trip and the option for those who want to joins our multiday trip, 2 Days Total with 1 Night Camping in the jungle.

Start your adventure with getting collected in you hotel in Medan. Your friendly driver will pick you up and collected you together with other participants and bring you to Bukit Lawang. Meet with the guide right after you reach Bukit Lawang, then continued into the national park.

Embark in to the beautiful old growth lowland rainforest with lots of large old trees around. The forest is wonderful for primate watching, as it is home to: Sumatran White-handed Gibbons (Hylobates lar vestitus) with two pairs and one singleton, Southern Pig-tailed Macaques, and Thomas’ Leaf Monkey aka Thomas’ Langur, Great Argus Pheasant and Orangutans.

After few hours in the forest, head back to the village/town of Bukit Lawang. Raft back along the Bohorok river. The rafting is in large rubber tyres with sort of hammock mats in the bottom to sit on. Rafting back to the village in a tyre past the nice forest with big dipterocarps and tree ferns.

(For those who join the 2 Days Trip, you will stay overnight in the jungle, in camping style arrangement)

Once you have arrived in Bukit Lawang, either from day trip option or multiday trip option, it is time to return back to Medan, hop back in the vehicle, sit back and relax, while your driver escorting you back to your hotel in Medan, approximately at 9:00 PM will arrive at your hotel in Medan.
