What you can expect

Discover different shaping techniques in an authentic Moroccan pottery workshop. Sculpt your creation as it turns on the traditional potter's wheel and master the technique of moulding.

Begin with a 15-minute demonstration before trying hands-on modelling. Create a cup, box, or tagine, or try wheel throwing with the pottery machine. Then, take a break midway to enjoy a refreshing cup of tea. Throughout the class, make several pieces on the potter's wheel and in modelling.

After the session, you can take your creations with you in a practical bag. Let them dry at home for a day, then paint them once they have hardened. If you are staying in Marrakech for at least six days after the workshop, you can have your pieces fired.
