In the afternoon, we will meet at the dive centre, where you will receive your complete gear – including a briefing. The core components of your equipment, the mask and snorkel, are supplied by MARES, our renowned diving equipment manufacturer. Your guide will help you choose the perfect mask to ensure maximum comfort during the excursion.
You will also be fitted with a suitably sized wetsuit, which will keep you warm, protect you from the sun, and also provide you with some buoyancy. If you wish, we can also provide you with professional diving fins and neoprene boots.
After putting on your wetsuit and neoprene boots, you will board our speedboat with one of our guides for a roughly 15-minute ride to one of the secluded bays at Cap de Pinar or Cap de Formentor. You will sit in the shade in the bow of the boat and enjoy the ride along the rocky coastline.
After a short briefing, during which your guide will explain how the equipment works, it's time to enter the blue water. You can jump straight off the boat or use the dive ladder. With the option that includes a guide, the guide will stay with the small group at all times and provide assistance as needed. While snorkelling, you can discover a wide variety of creatures: schools of sea bream and angelfish, small groupers, octopuses, starfish, and much more.
After about 50 minutes, you will climb back up the ladder and return to the boat. To refuel, you will be provided with some cookies and fresh water. On the return journey to the dive centre, you can once again enjoy the seaside of the Bay of Pollença and bring your snorkelling adventure to a close.
By the way: All the photos shown were taken during our snorkelling tours. In most cases, the guide will be provided with a camera, and we will send you the photos free of charge (no guarantee).
