Overview

This experience combines nature, local culture, and history, giving you the chance to see a different side of Guanacaste beyond its beaches.

Start with a short walk through the tropical forest to a hidden natural pool surrounded by greenery, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim. Then continue to Llanos del Cortés Waterfall, one of Guanacaste’s most beautiful waterfalls. Explore the upper section, take some photos, and then head down to the base for a swim in the natural pool beneath the waterfall.

Afterwards, enjoy a traditional Costa Rican buffet at Donde Pipe, a local restaurant in Liberia, with homemade dishes and authentic flavours from Guanacaste.

Finish the day with a guided visit around Liberia, known as the “White City.” Discover its history and culture as you see traditional adobe houses, historic buildings, the former prison museum, and the city’s impressive Catholic church.
