Overview

The Montevideo Carnival is one of the oldest and most deeply rooted traditions in Uruguayan culture. For 40 nights, dozens of groups, divided into five categories (Murgas, Humorists, Parodists, Revues, and Comparsas of Black and Lubolo performers), parade through the city performing on stages called “tablados,” while also participating in the Official Competition.

We will go to the "Plaza 1 de Mayo" where one of the most popular platforms in the city is installed, where you will have your entry and location as a common citizen.
