What you can expect

  • Discover the extraordinary life of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain on a Yak Ping trek from Lijiang.

    Start your day with a pickup from your hotel in Lijiang. Pass through the most beautiful highway in Lijiang and head to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Scenic Area.

    Upon arriving at the scenic area, we will hike to the Yak Meadow (a 10-kilometer return; Snacks will be provided during the hike) to take in the magnificent views of the snow-capped mountains. Along the way, we will visit Snowflake Lake, alpine meadows, the Lovers’ Tree, the Sacred Tree, Yao Pool, and the primeval forest.

    Continue on to Blue Moon Valley to visit Ganhaizi. After the tour, return to Lijiang, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
