Description Mahsuri Tomb-Makam Mahsuri is a space in the legendary Princess Mahsuri and located at Kampung Mawat, 12km from Kuah, it is also known as Makam Mahsuri. Many natural attractions on the island have attached tales in the style of real English and Mahsuri the legend may be the most famous.

Beras Terbakar (field Of Burnt Rice)

  • 30m
The "Field of Burnt Rice" (Ladang Beras Terbakar) in Langkawi, Malaysia, holds historical significance dating back to the late 18th century. Legend has it that during a Siamese invasion in 1821, the locals of Langkawi, led by a woman named Mahsuri, sought refuge in this rice field. As a defensive measure, they set fire to the rice fields to prevent the invaders from harvesting the crops, leaving nothing behind for them to sustain themselves.

Atma Alam Batik Village

  • 30m
(Please note this attraction close every Tuesday) Next, we will go to Atma Alam Batik Art Village, in Atma you will be able to witness the traditional batik printing process using wax and dye.
