Overview

This tour will take you from Seoul to the DMZ (Demilitarised Zone) that is a very unique, educational and contemporary historical place.

Also if you choose full day tour, you will visit Gloucester Hill Battle Memorial and Gamaksan Suspension Bridge where was fierce battle field during Korean War and now turned to beautiful places where you can see beauty of Korea nature at the top.

At the Imjingak Park, the vehicle takes you to the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel. After seeing the 3rd Tunnel, you will watch a brief film at the DMZ Exhibition Hall to get more information on the Korean Peninsula.

Then you will move to the Dora Observatory to see North Korea over telescope. 

You will pass the Unification Village, on the way to go back to the entrance then go to Gloucester Hill & Gamaksan Suspension Bridge [Option 1].
Or you can take optional itinerary that visit Jangsan Natural Observatory & Hwangpo traditional sailboat on DMZ River (Imjin River) [Option 2].

The Third Tunnel

North Korean Army built to infiltrate South Korea in 1970s. You will walk down to the tunnel (about 500m) wearing a safety helmet. After tunnel, you will have some time to look around the DMZ Exhibition Hall which shows the Korean War, old weapons and you can watch a short film about Korea's history and other information of Korea.

Gloster Hill Memorial Park

[Option 1] - Hill 235 Hill 235, where the 1st Battalion, the Gloucestershire Regiment (the Glorious Glosters) was ordered to "Hold on where you are", is remembered as "Gloster Hill". The memorial stands at the foot of Gloucester Hill beside the Seolmacheon stream. There is a memorial garden on the east side of the stream containing a large sculpture of the Gloucester's beret, a set of life sized Gloucester soldiers patrolling away from the Imjin River and a memorial wall. The stream is crossed by Gloucester Bridge and a path leads round to a flight of steps that takes you to the memorial stones set into a wall built into the side of the hill. Four plaques on the original memorial still show the crest of the United Nations, the badges of the Gloucestershire Regiment and of the Royal Artillery This is a popular park for local Koreans. According to Lee In-jae, the mayor of Paju who raised money among local citizens to expand the park, "Freedom is not free – it is earned with blood".
Gamaksan Chulleong Bridge

[Option 1] -Gamaksan Suspension Bridge 1.7 kilometres away from the Gloucester Hill Memorial is a rope bridge known as The Gloucester Heroes Bridge. The insignia of the regiment is also on a marble effect wall towards the beginning/end of the bridge, depending on which side the walk is started. It is one of longest suspension bridge of Korea with 180 metre length. It was fierce battle field during Korean War. After short hiking (15min), you will reach to the great view point at the mountain Gamaksan which is in the list Gamaksan is in the list of BEST 100 Mountains in Korea, rises 675 metres above sea level and is oft described as the ‘closest mountain to the DMZ’ but it is probably the most popular one to hike near the DMZ. Gamaksan is close to the ceasefire line so, once you climb up to the peak, you will be able to see the Imjingang River and Songaksan Mountain in Gaesong.
Jangsan-ro

[Option 2] - Jangsan Natural Observatory Jangsan Natural Observatory, located on best course of Pyeonghwa Nuri-gil in Paju, offers a wide view from the Imjin River to various mountain ranges. It was originally a military facility protection area and was off-limits to the general public, but entry began to be allowed at the request of Paju City. It is a hidden attraction that boasts the best view of the Imjin River, where you can observe the beautiful panoramic view of the Imjin River, North Korea's Kaesong City, Songaksan Mountain and even the Masikryeong Mountain Range in the distance. This is a place where you can see the flagpoles erected in Chopyeong Island, Unification Bridge, Daeseong-dong, and Gijong-dong as propaganda villages in North Korea. ** If the weather is not good to visit, you will go to Gloster Hill Memorial instead.
Imjingang River Hwangpo Dotbae Ferry Terminal

[Option 2] - Hwangpo traditional Sailboat on DMZ River (Imjin River) Hop on a Hwangpo sailboat, which was a major means of transport in the Joseon Dynasty, and enjoy the beauty of the red cliffs of Imjingang for about 45 minutes from Duji-ri to Jajang-ri. Paju Hwangpo Sailboat has fully recreated the original form from the Joseon Period and presents tourists with the excitement of travelling back in time. Once you board a Hwangpo sailboat and depart from Duji Quay, you will be able to immerse yourselves into the gorgeous landscape of Imjingang, from the red cliffs in Wondang-ri and Horogoruseong Fortress to Gorangpo Yeoulmok, where civilian access was restricted for several decades. ** This place is closed in winter by freezing the river. (Beg. of Dec. ~ Beg. of Mar.) ** When sailing is restricted by weather or military issue, you will take Peace Gondola in the Imjingak Park or visit Odusan Unification Observatory instead.
