Kompong Kleang is one of floating villages on Tonle Sap lake. Tonle Sap lake is a biggest fresh water lake in South East Asia.In Dry season the lake content 2700km2. In raining season the size of the lake just 3 times increase of dry season. there are more than 200 spices of fish on. Its has very spacial connection with Mekong river during raining season its a reservoir to restore water from Mekong river. There are 5 provinces around the lake, Siem Reap, Battambong, Pusat, Kompong Chhnang, and Kompong Thom province. all this 5 provinces have a very good potential for rice crop because the main water supply from the lake. In raining season you can travel by boat to Capital city Phnom Penh.
