With her classic wooden lines, comfortable seating and unmistakable character, Coquette offers a very different way to experience the lagoon.
Your cruise follows the calm waters of the Knysna Estuary to the dramatic sandstone cliffs of the Knysna Heads, which frame the entrance between the lagoon and the Indian Ocean. Along the way, enjoy views across the lagoon, Leisure Isle, Featherbed Nature Reserve and the surrounding Knysna landscape.
Your skipper will share local knowledge about the lagoon, its landmarks, history and wildlife while you sit back and enjoy the scenery at an easy, unhurried pace. Keep an eye out for the birdlife and marine life that make the Knysna Estuary such a special natural environment.
This experience remains on the sheltered Knysna Lagoon and does not head out onto the open ocean, making it ideal for guests looking for relaxed sightseeing without the open-sea swell.
