About Alleppey
Alleppey, often called the “Venice of the East”, is world-famous for its backwaters, lagoons, and houseboat cruises. This serene destination offers a glimpse into Kerala’s unique lifestyle along the waterways, where paddy fields, coconut palms, and village life create a picture-perfect scene. A stay in a traditional houseboat (kettuvallam) is the most iconic experience, allowing visitors to cruise through canals, enjoy freshly prepared Kerala cuisine, and witness mesmerising sunsets.

Day 01: Arrival at Kochi – Periyar (Thekkady)
Arrival at Kochi Airport, our driver will meet you at the airport drive to Periyar (Thekkady) (approx. 4–5 hrs).
On arrival Periyar, check-in at the hotel.
Afternoon visit to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary – enjoy a boat cruise on Periyar Lake to spot elephants and other wildlife. Visit a spice plantation and local market.
Evening Enjoy the Kathakali Dance Show at Periyar
Overnight stay in Periyar.

Day 02: Periyar – Alleppey (Houseboat Cruise)
Morning enjoy your delicious breakfast at the hotel and proceed for Alleppey Houseboat Cruise.
Board your traditional houseboat (Kettuvallam) around 12:00 PM.
Welcome drink and introduction to the crew.
Start your backwater cruise through narrow canals, paddy fields, coconut lagoons, and village areas.
Enjoy freshly cooked Kerala lunch on board.
Afternoon cruise with opportunities to watch village life, fishermen at work, and lush landscapes.
Tea/coffee with snacks served in the evening.
Witness a stunning sunset over the backwaters.
Houseboat anchored at a peaceful village stretch for the night.
Dinner and overnight stay on the houseboat.

Day 03:- Alleppey - Kochi Airport Departure
Morning tea/coffee followed by a refreshing backwater ride.
Enjoy breakfast on board while sailing back to Alleppey.
Disembark from the houseboat by 09:00 AM.
Proceed for onward journey with beautiful memories.
