What you can expect

Your guide will welcome you and you will enter an open-air kitchen located on a hilltop in this beautiful village, about 15 kilometres from Kandy city, allowing you to appreciate the surrounding greenery and get better ventilation while you cook. Start your cooking adventure by introducing fresh ingredients.

Immerse yourself in the local culture by following step-by-step instructions to create a delicious meal. Make traditional Sri Lankan dishes, such as milk rice, rice and curries, Idiappa and rotis.

Prepare your food on a banana leaf to brighten up your meal. Once your breakfast or lunch is ready, sit back to enjoy the fruits of your labour. Highlight the flavour and rustic feel of eating from a banana leaf like the locals.
