I am Melis, a professional DJ and an Associate Professor in Pharmacology. I am a curious, open-minded and a social person. That's why, through LokalBond, I wanted to share my hobby with travellers in Istanbul where I also get to share our culture, show our home hospitality and learn their culture. While sharing cultures and showing you Turkish home hospitality, me getting to teach you one of my greatest hobbies is making this experience very special for me. Activity itinerary

Firstly, you will find your way to my home in Acıbadem, Kadıköy, a central area in Asian side of Istanbul. I will welcome you to my home, where we will have some tea, coffee to warm up and get to know each other. Since this will be a cultural exchange experience purposed around an electronic music workshop, we will share cultures and I will introduce you to Turkish home hospitality. After warming up with some chats, I will tell you about my life as an Electronic DJ in Istanbul. Then, we will come around the mixer, where I will introduce you to the mixer. Firstly I will describe and tell about the mixer's buttons. Then, I will lead you through a DJing session. We will pretty much chill and make some music together, while I share my knowledge on Electronic music with you. So, come to my home, have a tea, coffee and let's make bond through making music together. Always, come as a guest, leave as a friend :).
