What you can expect

I'll tell you about the popular names and their meanings, including anecdotes and curious stories such as the café la'Chichilana or the Paseos del Bombé, and the curious storey of an “influencer” seal in the town.
We'll discover palaces with ghosts or churches that “swapped saints” or are “upside down.” A street that turns into a river once a year… a thousand anecdotes and stories that make it the city with the most columns in Spain (almost 4 km of arcades)

We'll go from medieval streets and some buildings from that period to large modernist mansions built as residences for the industrialists who arrived from “the Americas” in the 19th century, passing by Baroque palaces and even the jewel of 21st-century architecture.

During the 2.5 hours that we'll be together, you'll discover that Avilés is full of charming spots.

Starting from the bandstand in Parque del Muelle, we suggest a leisurely stroll through the historic centre of the Sabugo area, the origin of the city, and through the iconic streets of Galiana or Rivero with their houses and arcades that have made them so unique, or to see the 19th-century and early 20th-century Avilés with its modernist architecture.

In short, everything that has given it its current character.

So don't hesitate,

WE ARE WAITING FOR YOU!
